Trinity Lutheran Church provides the 'Tween Tots Nursery School as a service to the community. The program is specifically designed for children of ages three, four, and five.
Classes are held at the following times:
3 year olds: Tuesday & Thursday mornings 9:00 to 11:15 AM
4 year olds: Monday & Wednesday mornings 9:00 to 11:15 AM or Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday afternoons 12:45 to 3:00 PM.
5 year olds may attend the four year old classes if they are not yet attending kindergarten.

The goals of 'Tween Tots are to:
- Gain a positive attitude for learning
- Become a more caring and sharing person
- Become part of a group of friends
- Emphasize manners
registration
Registration for September through May sessions begins in the previous January. Children are enrolled on a first-come, first served basis until classes are filled.
Preference is given to members of Trinity until the last day of February. 'Tween Tots admits students regardless of race, color, nationality, religious, or ethnic origin.
Please print these registration forms, fill them out, and return them to the church.
Children must be potty trained upon entry in the fall.
class size
Class sizes are limited to 12 for the three year old class and 15 for the four year old class. Each has one teacher and one aide.
curriculum
Curriculum covers the basics: shapes, colors, numbers, and letters of the alphabet.
tuition
Costs per student, subject to change are:
- 2 day classes: $720 yearly or nine monthly installments of $80 each
- 3 day classes: $900 yearly or nine monthly installments of $100 each.
Registration fees are: $5 by June 1, $10 by July 1, $15 by August 1, or $20 after August 1. A discount is given to members of Trinity.
special events
Throughout the school year, we take two field trips: to a pumpkin patch in the fall and to our local library in the spring.
Visits are made to the church at Christmas and Easter to learn about the holidays.
Many activities take place in the classroom:
- Monthly show and tell
- Halloween dress-up parties
- Safety lessons by the local police and a local fire fighter
- Christmas cookie baking with parents who are available to help
- Family Christmas parties
- Class Valentine's Day parties
- Easter celebration
- Family "last day of school" parties
- Celebrations on each child's birthday
- Monthly visits from our music teacher, Mrs. Cygan
daily activities
The days are very flexible, but with a basic structure including work time, story time, play time, and a snack.
Opportunities offered throughout the year include painting at easels, play-doh, computer learning, and gym time.
