Pastor Lynette R. Chapman
Welcome to Trinity online! In 2011, the people of Trinity called me to be their pastor. Since then, I have been getting to know everyone – and welcoming new people to Trinity’s faith community as well. I invite anyone to come and worship with us on any Sunday morning, hearing the Word of God for your life and celebrating the grace of Jesus Christ. The people of Trinity stand ready to welcome you to worship, to service, to learning, and to sharing God’s love in Quakertown.
About Pastor Chapman:
I am a church re-imaginer who wants to help the 21st century church live out its mission to speak the gospel of Jesus into hearts and lives. I like tradition and innovation, great old hymns and a kickin’ bass line. I like icons and video clips, contemplation and celebration. I think people grow in faith when they spend more time in prayer and more time in Bible study. Most importantly, I love Jesus and feel God’s care and the Spirit’s activity in my life daily. I have an adopted daughter, Raylynn, (11 years old) and an amazing husband, Paul. We’ve been married 16 years and still like being together :). My parents, brother, and sister-in-law live in the Allentown area, so we see them fairly often. We have three cats – all rescues – and a comfortable 100+year-old row home in Perkasie, PA. I like the Chicago blues and Russian church music, NPR, books (Jane Austen and historical thrillers!), crime dramas, reality television, being outdoors, and spending time with my family and friends.
Here’s what I love in Ministry:
Michael L. Kuhnert
Michael L. Kuhnert currently serves as Minister of Music and organist for Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church located in Quakertown, Pennsylvania.
Having been a long-time resident of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Mr. Kunhert has served as Director of Music Ministries for congregations in Harrisburg and Highspire. He has also shared his music ministry with churches in the Conshohocken and East Norriton locations of Pennsylvania as well as in Moline, Illinois.
Mr. Kuhnert is a member of the Executive Committee for the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
Mr. Kuhnert has offered inspiring organ/piano arrangements for a Bucks County Christian choral organization known as “Zion Choral” as part of “A Joyous Acclamation!” music ministry shared with Mr. John Schwartz.
Mr. Kuhnert shares his professional life as a licensed Pennsylvania Funeral Director. His passion for music as well as his compassion for families who have experienced the loss of a loved one are evident, as he many times is asked to serve as organist as well as funeral director for arranged services. He serves the Suess Funeral Home in Perkasie and the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home in Telford.
He is the proud father of two wonderful children and has four adorable grandchildren.
Mr. Kuhnert is a resident of Quakertown in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
John L. Schwartz
John L. Schwartz currently serves as Minister of Music and pianist for Trinity Lutheran Church located in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The depth of his love for music is evident through the expressive interpretation of arrangements offered by “A Joyous Acclamation!” music ministry shared with Mr. Michael Kuhnert. He graciously welcomes the opportunity to concertize as a means of spreading the gospel through music.
With a performance concentration in voice and piano, Mr. Schwartz earned the Bachelor of Science in Music Education degree at West Chester University. Post-graduate studies include educational administration. He also received a prestige scholarship to attend the Pennsylvania Governor’s School for the Arts.
Mr. Schwartz has shared his appreciation for music with students in the public, private, and special education sectors of the teaching profession. He has served as a high school music educator at Norristown Area High School in Pennsylvania as well as at Florence Township Memorial High School in New Jersey. He also has enjoyed working with special needs and challenged youth at the Silver Springs – Martin Luther School in Plymouth Township, Pennsylvania as well as at The Pathway School in Audubon, Pennsylvania.
Mr. Schwartz has faithfully served as piano accompanist for “Zion Choral”, a Bucks County Christian choral organization that shares the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through the ministry of music.
